When I invented The Strapper®️ I never could have imagined the lesson I would learn. When speaking to woman and hearing stories, such as how The Strapper®️ helped a mastectomy patient to a sweet 'ol mans trousers being held up. I knew, I was happiest helping others. Unfortunatly, with the greatest highs comes the greatest lows. I was infringed upon by the largest bra accessory company. The president met with me, shook my hand and we had a deal. Then in true shark fashion, she took it all away.
I lost everything. With no money, house, car or business, I had three babies under the age of three and I had to do something. I was scraping change to buy milk and diapers. I was at my lowest point. To rebuild felt impossible, I had no hope. I wanted to crawl under a rock, and I did, but I had to come out at some point, I had no choice. I started thinking about all those many stories, and I knew, I could still somehow help. That's when The Strapper®️ Stretch was born. Once again, woman all over are telling me stories of how the stretch is a savior to their bra needs. I wouldn't say I'm a huge comeback story, but I have food on the table, a car, a roof over our heads and three happy children. So I am grateful.
One of my most favorite sayings I used for inspiration during this difficult time was ...
With patience & persistence, the snail too made it onto the arc.
